Too busy failing to succeed?

Business owner: “Can you help me please? My business is really struggling. I need help desperately. I am sorry, I do not have any money to pay you but if something does not change soon I will lose everything”

Me: “I appreciate your situation. Its one I have seen a lot of times. Watch this free 15 minute video. It will tell you all you need to know about how to start reversing your situation.”

TWO WEEKS LATER

Me: “How’s it going? I have not heard from you? Did you watch the video?”

Business Owner: “I have been too busy. I will watch it when I can”

Me: “No problem – How’s your situation?”

Business Owner: “Worse!”

Me: “Please do watch the video – it will really help you to start to turn things around – it has helped many others.”

Still waiting……….

    Hi Richard,

Wonderful! It made me laugh – and think!

    Well done,

    Brendan

It’s like so many other things, you have to make a little efford in order, to help the environment, to organize your life, to loose weight etc., but you allways find an excuse to simply not do it. Or you say I can’t , or you say I don’t have the time. Guess what… if you don’t have the time, you stay where you are, and wait for the things to happen, something to hit you from the sky and save your behind:) What happens to us is the result of what we do or not. Nobody else is to blame.

Brought a wry smile to my face, Richard, and a little bit of self-recognition, if I’m honest. I’ve joined the odd email list in the past, you know the kind – set aside 10 minutes per day just for yourself to read this and grow, and guess what, I’ve got 110 unread emails *lol* I think it’s mainly a reluctance to admit my way hasn’t worked. Everyone wants to be right, don’t they, sometimes (often?) at the expense of being successful…
